تَعصيyou disobey الإِلَهَGod وَأَنتَwhile you تُظهِرُshow حُبَّهُlove for Him
تَعصي الإِلَهَ وَأَنتَ تُظهِرُ حُبَّهُ
هَذاthis مَحالٌan impossibility فيin القِياسِreasoning بَديعُastonishing
هَذا مَحالٌ في القِياسِ بَديعُ
You disobey God while showing your love for Him.
This is an astonishing impossibility by reason's reckoning.
لَوif كانَwere حُبُّكَyour love صادِقاًsincere لَأَطَعتَهُyou would surely obey Him
لَو كانَ حُبُّكَ صادِقاً لَأَطَعتَهُ
إِنَّindeed المُحِبَّthe lover لِمَنto the one whom يُحِبُّhe loves مُطيعُobedient
إِنَّ المُحِبَّ لِمَن يُحِبُّ مُطيعُ
If your love were sincere, you would surely obey Him.
Indeed, the lover obeys the one he loves.
فيon كُلِّevery يَومٍday يَبتَديكَHe first grants you بِنِعمَةٍwith a blessing
في كُلِّ يَومٍ يَبتَديكَ بِنِعمَةٍ
مِنهُfrom Him وَأَنتَyet you لِشُكرِin giving thanks for ذاكَthat مُضيعُneglectful
مِنهُ وَأَنتَ لِشُكرِ ذاكَ مُضيعُ
Each day He begins by granting you a blessing,
From Him, yet you neglect to give thanks for it.
