كذبَ الزاعمون أنّ عليّاً

كذبَ الزاعمون أنّ عليّاً

لن يُنَجِّي مُحِبُّه من هَناتِ

لن يُنَجِّي مُحِبُّه من هَناتِ

They have lied, those who claim that Ali

The claimants have lied that Ali

will not save his devotee from failings.

Will not save his lover from afflictions

قد وربي دَخلتُ جَنّةَ عَدْنٍ

قد وربي دَخلتُ جَنّةَ عَدْنٍ

وعفا لي الإلهُ عن سيئاتي

وعفا لي الإلهُ عن سيئاتي

Indeed, by my Lord, I have entered the Garden of Eden,

By my Lord, I have entered the Garden of Eden

and God has forgiven my misdeeds.

And God has forgiven me my sins

فابشِروا اليومَ أولياءَ عليِّ

فابشِروا اليومَ أولياءَ عليِّ

وتولَّوْا عليَّ حتّى المماتِ

وتولَّوْا عليَّ حتّى المماتِ

So rejoice today, O friends of Ali,

So rejoice today, O friends of Ali

and be loyal to Ali until death.

And follow Ali until death

ثُمَّ مِن بعدِهِ تولَّوْا بنيهِ

ثُمَّ مِن بعدِهِ تولَّوْا بنيهِ

واحداً بعد واحدٍ بالصفاتِ

واحداً بعد واحدٍ بالصفاتِ

Then, after him, be loyal to his sons,

Then after him follow his sons

one after another, according to their attributes.

One after the other in virtues
