لا فرضَ إلاّ فرضُ عَقدِ الوَلا

لا فرضَ إلاّ فرضُ عَقدِ الوَلا

في أوّل الدهرِ وفي الآخِرَهْ

في أوّل الدهرِ وفي الآخِرَهْ

There is no obligation but the obligation of pledging allegiance,

No duty but the duty of loyalty

At the beginning of time and in the Hereafter,

In the beginning of time and its end

لأهلِ بيتِ المُصطفى إنّهم

لأهلِ بيتِ المُصطفى إنّهم

صفوةُ حزبِ اللهِ ذي المَغْفِرَهْ

صفوةُ حزبِ اللهِ ذي المَغْفِرَهْ

To the household of the Chosen One; indeed, they are

For the People of the House of the Chosen One they

The elect of the party of God, the Possessor of forgiveness.

Are the elite of the party of God the All-Forgiving

أعطاهُمُ الفضلَ على غيرهم

أعطاهُمُ الفضلَ على غيرهم

بِسؤدُدِ البُرهانِ والمقدرَهْ

بِسؤدُدِ البُرهانِ والمقدرَهْ

He granted them preeminence over others,

He gave them virtue over others

Through the supremacy of proof and power.

With the proof of evidence and destiny

فهم ولاةُ الأمرِ في خَلقه

فهم ولاةُ الأمرِ في خَلقه

حُكّامُه الماضونَ في أدهُرِهْ

حُكّامُه الماضونَ في أدهُرِهْ

So they hold authority among His creation,

So they are the Guardians of His creation

His judges, who hold sway throughout His ages.

His rulers passing through the ages
