قوْمَ نِبالهمُ ليستْ بطائشةٍ

قوْمَ نِبالهمُ ليستْ بطائشةٍ

وفيهمُ لِفسادِ الدينِ إصلاحُ

A people whose arrows never fly astray—

A people whose arrows do not go astray,

among them lies the cure for corruption of the faith.

And in them lies a remedy for the corruption of religion;

ويُفصِحون عن المعنى بألسنةٍ

ويُفصِحون عن المعنى بألسنةٍ

كأنّما هي أسيافٌ وأرماحٌ

كأنّما هي أسيافٌ وأرماحٌ

They give clear voice to meaning with tongues

And they express meaning clearly with tongues

as though those tongues were swords and spears.
