And the virginal one before a virginal one

The faces of delight smiled in thought,
The faces of bliss laughed with joy
and the harbingers of gladness appeared.
And the stars of joy shone

So it was as though joy were a beloved who granted us
It was as if joy was a gift that brought us together
union with him after long estrangement;
After the long estrangement
