Ah, the gleaming swords mourned a youth,

Radiant whenever pitch-black night oppressed the travelers.

The fates of death struck him as he entered the fray,

While its fires had begun to blaze.

And they said, 'The Samhari spear's tongue dealt him

    A gaping wound—not the keen sword's edge.'

So, what a wonder—the sea laid low by a drop,

And the radiant moon laid low by a star!
