ألا لا تحقرن صغير قومٍ

ألا لا تحقرن صغير قومٍ

فقد يسمو إلى الهمم الكبارِ

Take heed: never belittle the least among a people,

Do not disparage a lesser people,

For he may rise to lofty aspirations,

For they may yet rise to great heights.

كما أن الهلال يعود بدراً

كما أن الهلال يعود بدراً

ويمتد الصياح إلى النهار

ويمتد الصياح إلى النهار

Just as the crescent becomes a full moon,

As the crescent moon returns full,

And the shouting carries on into the day.

And the roar stretches into day.
