هو الرزق إن وافاك سعياً فهينٌ

هو الرزق إن وافاك سعياً فهينٌ

وإن تاته في عيصةٍ فعويص

وإن تاته في عيصةٍ فعويص

It is sustenance: if it comes running to you, it is easy;

If sustenance comes to you through striving, then treat it gently,

And if you go to it in a thicket, it is difficult.

And if it comes to you through hardship, then endure it patiently,

على أن من ألقاه نال منال من

على أن من ألقاه نال منال من

يغور على تحصيله ويغوص

يغور على تحصيله ويغوص

Yet whoever casts it aside gains as much as one

For he who throws it to you has granted a gift to one,

Who delves deep and dives to obtain it.

Who dives deep and exerts great effort to obtain it.
