سلاه من كان له عاشقا — Al Safadi — Saqi

سلاهُ من كان له عاشقاً
قبلي لأجل العارض الزائرِ
He was forgotten by one who had loved him
before me, because of the down visiting his cheeks.
فقلت لما هام قلبي به
كم ترك الأولُ للآخرِ
So I said, when my heart grew mad with love for him:
“How much the first has left for the last!”
