قل لي فإن الحق شف لمن نظر

Have you seen anyone in Islam fairer than Tatar?

Tell me, for the truth is clear to whoever looks.

فتانة تشبى العقول فحسنها

قمر الفؤاد بطلعةٍ مثل القمر

قمر الفؤاد بطلعةٍ مثل القمر

An enchantress who ensnares minds; her beauty

has won the heart with a countenance like the moon.

فإذا انثنت سجد القضيب لها وإن

فإذا انثنت سجد القضيب لها وإن

خطرت فسمر الخط تمسى في خطر

خطرت فسمر الخط تمسى في خطر

And when she bends, the bough prostrates itself before her; and if

she walks with a sway, the brown spears of al-Khatt end up in danger.
