لا تجمع الدينار واسمح به

لا تجمع الدينار واسمح به

ولا تقل كن في حمى كنفي

Do not hoard the dinar; give it freely.

Do not hoard money, be generous with it

Nor say, “Stay in the shelter of my care.”

And do not say, remain in my protection

ما الدهر نحوي فينحو الهدى
