وأشرقَand shone اجبالُmountains العويرِal-ʿUwayr بفاعلٍthrough a man of action
وأشرقَ اجبالُ العويرِ بفاعلٍ
اذاwhen خَبَتdied down النيرانُthe fires بالليلِat night أَوقَدhe kindled a fire
اذا خَبَت النيرانُ بالليلِ أَوقَد
And the mountains of al-ʿUwayr shone through a man of action;
when the fires died down at night, he kindled a fire.
