Nothing burns hotter in the heart of the lov-

    er than these languid eyes,

    And the flushed cheeks whose

crimson has been mingled with the beauty of whiteness,

And the gaze of the eyelids, and signaling with the eye-

brow amid shunning and turning away,

And the beloved’s nighttime visit, while the night is dark,

When the nighttime companions were about to close their eyes.
