سوائمٌ قد غابَ راعيها

سوائمٌ قد غابَ راعيها

As though the mirage had sold her

As if the makers sold her

grazing beasts whose herdsman had gone;

Reins whose shepherd has gone astray

تتلع أحياناً أكمها

تتلع أحياناً أكمها

ثم تهاوى في مهاويها

ثم تهاوى في مهاويها

at times her hillocks rise,

She grazes on hills at times

then tumble into her hollows.

Then tumbles into her abysses
