غَدَاةَ أتَى بَدْراً وَحَرَّ جِلاَدَهُمْ

غَدَاةَ أتَى بَدْراً وَحَرَّ جِلاَدَهُمْ

وَكَانَ جَلِيساً بِالعَرِيشِ مُؤازِرَا

وَكَانَ جَلِيساً بِالعَرِيشِ مُؤازِرَا

That morning he came to Badr and intensified their fighting,

In the morning he brought full moon and scorched their skins

And sat as a companion in the shelter, lending support.

And he sat by the throne an ally
