جَلَدُونِيthey flogged me ثُمَّthen قَالُواthey said قَدَرٌfate
جَلَدُونِي ثُمَّ قَالُوا قَدَرٌ

They flogged me, then said, “It was decreed.”
They flogged me, then said, “Fate!”
May God decree for them an evil fate.
May God decree an evil fate for them.
