وَأَصبحنَand they were in the morning كَالدَومِlike the doum palms النَواعِمِthe luxuriant ones غُدوَةًat dawn
وَأَصبحنَ كَالدَومِ النَواعِمِ غُدوَةً
عَلىin وِجهةٍa direction مِنof ظاعِنٍa departing traveler يَتَوسَّمُhe peers intently
عَلى وِجهةٍ مِن ظاعِنٍ يَتَوسَّمُ
And at dawn they were like luxuriant doum palms,
in the direction faced by a departing traveler who peers intently.
