يُعْطي الجَزيلَ وَلا يُرى في وَجهِهِ

يُعْطي الجَزيلَ وَلا يُرى في وَجهِهِ

لِخَليلِهِ مَنٌّ وَلا شَتْمُ

لِخَليلِهِ مَنٌّ وَلا شَتْمُ

He gives lavishly, and his face shows no sign

He gives generously and no gratitude is seen upon his face

of holding his favors over his friend, nor of insult.

To his friend, no reproach or blame does he assign
