I find I have bestowed love on one who does not know it.

So Munsif has not treated me fairly in love.

And she gained greater favor with us the day she turned away.

And between her two fingers was a slender, brown-hued one:

Deaf yet hearing, still yet moving.

It attains mighty heights of glory, though it is gaunt.

How could you marvel at it, when your age is wondrous?

A distorter sets straight the distortions of humankind.
