وَكُنا كَريمَي مَعشَرٍ جَمَّ بَينَنا

وَكُنا كَريمَي مَعشَرٍ جَمَّ بَينَنا

تُصافٍ فَصُناهُ بَحُسنِ صِيانِ

And we were two noble men of a clan; between us abounded

mutual affection, so we took good care to preserve it.
