وَقَد أَنهَبَ المَعزى فَبَرَّت يَمينُهُ

وَقَد أَنهَبَ المَعزى فَبَرَّت يَمينُهُ

وَما ضَرَّ سَعداً مالُهُ المُتَنَهَّبُ

وَما ضَرَّ سَعداً مالُهُ المُتَنَهَّبُ

And indeed he gave the goats over to plunder, so his oath was fulfilled;

The goats have grazed the pasture bare, his right hand innocent,

and his plundered wealth did Saʿd no harm.

No harm to Saad if his wealth is plundered.
