أستغفرُ اللَه وأستغفر ال

أستغفرُ اللَه وأستغفر ال

محبوبَ من ذَنبَينِ في ذنبِ

محبوبَ من ذَنبَينِ في ذنبِ

I seek forgiveness from God, and from the

I ask Allah for forgiveness, and I ask

beloved, for two sins in a single sin.

The beloved for forgiveness for two sins in one sin

إن نظرت عيني إلى غيره

إن نظرت عيني إلى غيره

بشهوةٍ هَمَّ بها قلبي

بشهوةٍ هَمَّ بها قلبي

If my eye has looked at anyone but him

If my eyes looked upon another

with a desire my heart has entertained,

With a lust that filled my heart

فقد عصيتُ اللَه في نظرتي

فقد عصيتُ اللَه في نظرتي

وخُنتُ من أهوى بلا عتبِ

وخُنتُ من أهوى بلا عتبِ

then I have disobeyed God in my glance

Then I disobeyed Allah with my gaze

and betrayed the one I love, without reproach.

And betrayed the one I love without blame

فعائذٌ باللَه من نظرةٍ

فعائذٌ باللَه من نظرةٍ

فيها فساد الدّين والحبِّ

فيها فساد الدّين والحبِّ

So I seek refuge in God from a glance

So I take refuge in Allah from a glance

that corrupts faith and love.
