والعيشُ تحت معاقد الزُّنّارِ
Beauty's robes are a delight to the eyes,
And life lies beneath the girdle's knots.

Thus the glance, in love's judgment, became
A witness called to testify about hidden secrets.

Where there is smoke, there is someone kindling a fire.

For its ugliness, when your face is a delight to the eyes?
