اللَهُAllah رَبّيmy Lord وَالنَبِيُّand the Prophet مُحَمَّدٌMuhammad
اللَهُ رَبّي وَالنَبِيُّ مُحَمَّدٌ
حَيِّياsalute, you two الرِسالَةَthe message بَينَamid الأَسبابِthe ties
حَيِّيا الرِسالَةَ بَينَ الأَسبابِ
Allah is my Lord, and Muhammad is the Prophet.

Salute the message, you two, amid the ties.
He revived the message amidst causes
ثُمَّthen الوَصِيُّthe appointed successor وَصِيُّsuccessor of أَحمَدَAhmad بَعدَهُafter him
ثُمَّ الوَصِيُّ وَصِيُّ أَحمَدَ بَعدَهُ
كَهفُa cavern العُلومِof knowledge بِحِكمَةٍwith wisdom وَصَوابِand sound judgment
كَهفُ العُلومِ بِحِكمَةٍ وَصَوابِ
Then the appointed successor, Ahmad’s successor after him,
Then the successor, the successor of Ahmad after him
A cavern of knowledge, with wisdom and sound judgment.
The cave of knowledge with wisdom and righteousness
فاقَsurpassed النَظيرَhis peer وَلاand no نَظيرَequal لِقَدرِهِto his worth
فاقَ النَظيرَ وَلا نَظيرَ لِقَدرِهِ
وَعَلاand rose عَنِabove الخِلانِthe close friends وَالأَصحابِand the companions
وَعَلا عَنِ الخِلانِ وَالأَصحابِ
He surpassed his peer, yet his worth has no equal,
He surpassed all peers, and none can match his worth
And rose above close friends and companions,
He rose above all comrades and companions
بِمَناقِبٍwith virtues وَمَآثِرٍand glorious deeds ماnot مِثلُهاtheir like
بِمَناقِبٍ وَمَآثِرٍ ما مِثلُها
فيin العالَمينَthe worlds لِعابِدٍfor a worshipper تَوّابِever-repentant
في العالَمينَ لِعابِدٍ تَوّابِ
With virtues and glorious deeds whose like is not found
With virtues and remarkable feats none other has
In all the worlds in any ever-repentant worshipper.
In both worlds for a worshipper ever-repentant
وَبَنوهُand his sons أَبناءُsons of النَبِيَّthe Prophet المُرتَضىthe chosen
وَبَنوهُ أَبناءُ النَبِيَّ المُرتَضى
أَكرِمhow noble بِهِمwith them مِنas شيخَةٍelders وَشَبابِand youths
أَكرِم بِهِم مِن شيخَةٍ وَشَبابِ
And his sons are the sons of the chosen Prophet.
And his sons are the sons of the chosen Prophet
How noble they are, elders and youths!
Our most honored old and young through them
وِلِفاطِمٍand Fatim’s صَلّىbestowed blessings عَلَيهِمupon them رَبُّناour Lord
وِلِفاطِمٍ صَلّى عَلَيهِم رَبُّنا
لِقَديمِfor the long-standing merit of أَحمَدَAhmad ذيpossessing النُهىreason الأَوّابِever returning to God
لِقَديمِ أَحمَدَ ذي النُهى الأَوّابِ
And they are Fatim’s—may our Lord bless them—
And for Fatima may our Lord bless them
For Ahmad’s long-standing merit, endowed with reason, ever turning to God.
