قوم تركوني ولقلبي أخذوا
I never thought they would cast aside my covenant.
I did not expect they would break their pact with me
A people who left me and took my heart.
A people who left me, yet took my heart away

They pulled my heart toward them by its rein.
They pulled my heart by its reins towards them
They shattered my liver, so it is in pieces because of them.
They melted my liver, so it's their darling child
