أَرَى المُسْتَخْدَمِينَ مَشَوْا جميعاً

أَرَى المُسْتَخْدَمِينَ مَشَوْا جميعاً

عَلَى غَيْرِ الصِّراطِ المُسْتَقِيمِ

عَلَى غَيْرِ الصِّراطِ المُسْتَقِيمِ

I see the officials have all gone

I see the users have all walked

Along a course other than the straight path.

On other than the straight path

مَعَاشِرُ لوْ وَلُوا جَنَّاتِ عَدْنٍ

مَعَاشِرُ لوْ وَلُوا جَنَّاتِ عَدْنٍ

لَصَارَتْ منهمُ نَارَ الجَحِيمِ

لَصَارَتْ منهمُ نَارَ الجَحِيمِ

A people who, were they to govern the gardens of Eden,

O companions, if only you would turn towards the gardens of Eden

Would turn them into the fire of Hell.

The hellfire would become of them

فمَا مِنْ بَلْدَةِ إلاَّ ومنهمُ

فمَا مِنْ بَلْدَةِ إلاَّ ومنهمُ

عليها كلُّ شَيْطانٍ رَجِيمِ

عليها كلُّ شَيْطانٍ رَجِيمِ

For there is no town but has, from among them,

So there is no city but of them

Every accursed devil ruling over it.

Upon it is every accursed devil

فلوْ كانَ النُّجُومُ لها رُجُوماً

فلوْ كانَ النُّجُومُ لها رُجُوماً

إنْ خَلَتِ السَّماءُ مِنْ النُجُومِ

إنْ خَلَتِ السَّماءُ مِنْ النُجُومِ

So, if the stars were missiles against them,

If only the stars had asteroids

The sky would indeed be emptied of stars.

When the sky is devoid of stars
