لَك الحَمد يا مستوجب الحمد دائما

لَك الحَمد يا مستوجب الحمد دائما

عَلى كل حالٍ حمدُ فانٍ لدائمِ

عَلى كل حالٍ حمدُ فانٍ لدائمِ

All praise is Yours, O You forever worthy of praise,

You deserve all praise, O You who are eternally worthy of praise,

In every circumstance—a mortal's praise to the Everlasting.

At every state, fleeting praise belongs to the Eternal.

وَسُبحانك اللهم تَسبيح شاكِر

وَسُبحانك اللهم تَسبيح شاكِر

لمعروفك المَعروف ياذا المَراحِم

لمعروفك المَعروف ياذا المَراحِم

And glory be to You, O God, with a grateful one's glorification

Glory be to You O God, the grateful glorification,

For Your well-known kindness, O Possessor of mercies.

For Your favor done, O You Most Merciful.

فَكَم لَك من ستر على كل خاطىء

فَكَم لَك من ستر على كل خاطىء

وَكَم لَك من برعلى كل ظالم

وَكَم لَك من برعلى كل ظالم

So often You veil every sinner's faults,

How much have You veiled for every sinner,

And how much kindness You show every wrongdoer.

How much have You excused every oppressor.

وجودك مَوجود وَفضلك فائض

وجودك مَوجود وَفضلك فائض

وَأَنتَ الَّذي ترحى لتكشف العَظائم

وَأَنتَ الَّذي ترحى لتكشف العَظائم

And Your generosity is present, and Your bounty overflows.

Your existence exists, Your grace overflows,

And You are the One we look to, to dispel great calamities.

You who wills to unveil the greatest things.

وَبابك مَفتوح لكل مؤمل

وَبابك مَفتوح لكل مؤمل

وَبرك ممنوح لكل مصارم

وَبرك ممنوح لكل مصارم

And Your door is open to everyone who hopes,

Your door is open to every hopeful,

And Your kindness is granted to everyone who severs ties.

Your grace is granted to every determined.

فَيا فالق الاصباح وَالحب وَالنوى

فَيا فالق الاصباح وَالحب وَالنوى

وَيا قاسِم الارزاق بين العَوالِم

وَيا قاسِم الارزاق بين العَوالِم

So, O Splitter of daybreak, of grain and fruit stones,

O Splitter of dawn, love and intent,

And O Apportioner of sustenance among the worlds,

O Apportioner of rizq between all worlds,

وَيا كافِل الحيتان في لج بحرها

وَيا كافِل الحيتان في لج بحرها

وَمؤنس في الآفاق وَحش البَهائم

وَمؤنس في الآفاق وَحش البَهائم

And O Sustainer of the fish in the depths of their sea,

O Sustainer of whales in the depths of their seas,

And Comforter of wild beasts across the horizons,

O Companion in horizons to the beasts of the wild.

وَيا مُحصي الأَوراق وَالنَبت وَالحَصى

وَيا مُحصي الأَوراق وَالنَبت وَالحَصى

وَرَمل الفلا عَدا وَقطر الغَمائم

وَرَمل الفلا عَدا وَقطر الغَمائم

And O Counter of leaves, vegetation, and pebbles,

O Counter of leaves, plants and pebbles,

And desert sands, counted one by one, and the drops of clouds,

And sands of beaches and drops of rain.

اليك توسَلنا بك اغفر ذنوبنا

اليك توسَلنا بك اغفر ذنوبنا

وَخفف عَن العاصين ثقل المَظالِم

وَخفف عَن العاصين ثقل المَظالِم

To You we appeal through You; forgive our sins,

To You we plead, through You forgive our sins,

And lighten for the disobedient the burden of wrongs.

And lighten the burden of oppressors’ tyranny.

وَحَبِب إِلَينا الحق واعصم قلوبنا

وَحَبِب إِلَينا الحق واعصم قلوبنا

من الزيغ وَالاهواء يا خير عاصم

من الزيغ وَالاهواء يا خير عاصم

And make the truth beloved to us, and protect our hearts

Make us love what is true and protect our hearts,

From straying and vain desires, O best Protector.

From deviance and desires, O Best of Protectors.

وَدَمِر أَعادينا بسلطانك الَّذي

وَدَمِر أَعادينا بسلطانك الَّذي

أذل وأننى كل عات وَغاشِم

أذل وأننى كل عات وَغاشِم

And destroy our enemies by Your power, which

Destroy our enemies by Your Power that,

Humbled and annihilated every rebel and oppressor.

Has humiliated and defeated every stubborn tyrant.

وَمن علينا يوم يَنكَشِف الغَطا

وَمن علينا يوم يَنكَشِف الغَطا

بستر خَطايانا وَمحو الجَرائم

بستر خَطايانا وَمحو الجَرائم

And favor us, on the day the veil is lifted,

Bless us the Day when all secrets unfold,

By concealing our sins and erasing offenses.

With veiling our faults and deleting our crimes.

وَصل عَلى خَيرِ البَرايا نَبينا

وَصل عَلى خَيرِ البَرايا نَبينا

محمد المَبعوث صفوة آدم

محمد المَبعوث صفوة آدم

And send blessings upon the best of creation, our Prophet,

Send your prayers upon the Best of Creation, our Prophet

Muhammad, the one sent forth, the finest of Adam's line.

Muhammad, the Chosen One from among the children of Adam.
