طّلعتِyou rose فكدتُso I nearly أصبحُenter morning منfrom تَلاليthe gleaming

بضرَّةِwith the rival وَجْهكِof your face الورديrosy بخَمسِwith five [fingers]
Come, and fill my years with morning,
With the rival of your rosy face, with five [fingers],
علىupon وجهِthe face الذيof him who أجنىmade reap بَنانيmy fingertips

Upon the face of him who made my fingertips reap
Fruits of noble deeds, while he is my own planting.
فإنso if ساءلتنيyou ask me مَنwho ذاكَthat one أنشدI recite

So if you ask me who that is, I recite:
“And that is Muhammad—my soul would ransom him.”
