وأَصلخَand a stone-deaf man فيin مَنفذَيْthe two passages of سمعِهِhis hearing
وأَصلخَ في مَنفذَيْ سمعِهِ
صمامٌa stopper منof الصَّممِdeafness المُطبِقِutter
صمامٌ من الصَّممِ المُطبِقِ
And a stone-deaf man has in both passages of his hearing
a stopper of utter deafness;
فلوso if نُفخwere blown الصورُthe Trumpet فيin عَصرِهِhis lifetime
فلو نُفخ الصورُ في عَصرِهِ
لأفلتَhe would escape حيّاًalive ولمand would not يُصعقِbe struck down
لأفلتَ حيّاً ولم يُصعقِ
so if the Trumpet were blown in his lifetime,
he would escape alive and not be struck down.
