1. وقاضٍ لنا أَيّرٍ أَيِّدِ

    يَنيكَ الرَّدِيَّ معَ الجَيِّدِ

    And a judge of ours, big-cocked and mighty,

  2. فقلتُ تقولُ بهِم أم بهنَّ

    فقالَ بهِمِنَّ يا سَيِّدي

    So I said, “Do you say ‘with them’—men—or ‘with them’—women?”
