Listen: tell whoever has come to dwell in Mecca,

and whoever has come from ʿAmq and the pass of al-Mushallal:

Abandon the pilgrimage; do not squander your funds,

for this year's pilgrimage will not be accepted.

And how can one's pilgrimage be deemed pure, when one has no

imam at one's ritual pebble-casting other than Duldul?

He spends his day making a show of fasting,

and in the darkness wears two necklaces of cloves.
