إذا المُرجيُّ سَرَّكَ إن تَراهُ

إذا المُرجيُّ سَرَّكَ إن تَراهُ

يَموتُ لِحينهِ من قَبل موتِه

يَموتُ لِحينهِ من قَبل موتِه

If it would please you to see the Murjiʾite

If hope delights you, though you see him not,

die at once, before his death,

He dies in his own time before his death.

فجدِّد عِندَهُ ذكرى عَلِيٍّ

فجدِّد عِندَهُ ذكرى عَلِيٍّ

وصَلِّ على النَّبِيِّ وأهلِ بيته

وصَلِّ على النَّبِيِّ وأهلِ بيته

then renew the remembrance of Ali in his presence,

Renew with him the memory of Ali,

and invoke blessings upon the Prophet and his household.

And pray God's blessings on His Prophet's house.
