أَغَرُّ تَوالَدُ الشَهَواتُ مِنهُ

أَغَرُّ تَوالَدُ الشَهَواتُ مِنهُ

فَما تَعدوهُ أَهواءُ القُلوبِ

فَما تَعدوهُ أَهواءُ القُلوبِ

A radiant one, from whom desires are born;

More captivating is the sequence of desires

so the longings of hearts never pass him by.

Than what hearts' fancies can transcend

وَما اِكتَحَلَت بِهِ عَينٌ فَتَبقى

وَما اِكتَحَلَت بِهِ عَينٌ فَتَبقى

مُسَلَّمَةَ الضَميرِ مِنَ الذُنوبِ

مُسَلَّمَةَ الضَميرِ مِنَ الذُنوبِ

And no eye has made him its kohl and remained

And no eye has lined with it to remain

with its conscience untainted by sins.

A safe conscience from sins
