I say to my companions at the foot of Muhassir:

Is it not time for you to rise and depart,

فيتبعكم بادي الصبابة عاشق

فيتبعكم بادي الصبابة عاشق

له بعد نوم العاشقين نحيب

له بعد نوم العاشقين نحيب

so that a lover whose yearning is plain may follow you—

one who sobs after the lovers have fallen asleep?
