The envious man's affliction is his own envy.
The envious one's affliction is his envy
The envious man's misery is punishment enough for him.
According to the envious one, his troubles are enough punishment

The envied man's offense, in his envier's eyes,
The sin of the envied one is with his envier
Is God's bounty; and his endurance is his doom.
What a good God, yet his doom is being skinned

And what most incites the envious man is a helping hand
And the greatest defeat of the envious one is a hand
Once extended to him, while his own hand did not protect you.
That gave to him, and its hand did not harm you

He grants you what the envious man envies you for;
May what the envious envied turn against him
He protects you from him; his anguish is punishment enough for him.
May that be enough of him for you, and suffice as his folly
