Humor the fool, for he is arbitrary

ظهرappeared القبيحugliness فليسso it is not ينكرconsidered strange إنif بداit appears
ظهر القبيح فليس ينكر إن بدا
منfrom فاسقa sinner لموثقtoward one deemed trustworthy ومفسّقand one branded sinful
من فاسق لموثق ومفسّق
Ugliness has appeared; it is no surprise if it comes
from a sinner toward one deemed trustworthy and one branded sinful.
منwho ذاis it عذيركyour defender منagainst مقالspeech مشنعdefamatory
من ذا عذيرك من مقال مشنع
والناسand people بينbetween مكذبone who denies ومصدّقand one who believes
والناس بين مكذب ومصدّق
Who will defend you against defamatory speech,
