اصنع المعروف لا تلوم عليه

واجتنب ما يكون فيه الأثامه

واجتنب ما يكون فيه الأثامه

Do good; do not reproach anyone for it.

Do good deeds without wanting praise,

And avoid whatever involves sin.

And avoid sin that leads to blame.

ولا شكر من أمال إذا

ولا شكر من أمال إذا

ما جاء يرجوك قبل يوم القيامه

ما جاء يرجوك قبل يوم القيامه

Nor is there gratitude from one who swayed, when

Expect no thanks from one who hopes

he came hoping for your help before the Day of Resurrection.

You'll help when Judgment Day comes.
