Through them, reunion triumphed over separation.

لاmay not زالَتcease الاِيّامthe days تَهديكَbestow upon you الوَفاfaithfulness
لا زالَت الاِيّام تَهديكَ الوَفا
رَغمَdespite الوُشاةِthe slanderers وَبغيةand the wish الصَديقof the friend
رَغمَ الوُشاةِ وَبغية الصَديق
May the days never cease to bring you fidelity,
May the days never cease to bestow faithfulness upon you,
To spite the slanderers and fulfill the friend’s desire.
Despite the slanderers—and grant the friend's wish.
