Good fortune has alighted in our Egypt, and she is adorned;
The Saud has come to our Egypt and adorned her,
And the lofty procession is the lamp of her joy.
And the sublime procession is the lantern of her joy.

The Khedive has honored the land, so his Egypt
The Khedive has honored the country, his Egypt has risen,
has surpassed the full moons—nay, the suns—with her radiance.
The full moons, nay the suns, have reached their zenith through his light.
