فَوَحَقّه مالي سِواهُ تَخيل

أَبَدا وَلا لي عَن حِماه تَحول

By his truth, I picture none but him;

So, by his right, I imagine none but him,

never do I turn away from his sanctuary.

مالي لَهُ الاهواه تَوسل

فَالحُب أَحسَن ما بِهِ يَتوصل

فَالحُب أَحسَن ما بِهِ يَتوصل

I have no way to reach him except through love of him,

I have no means of approaching him except love for him;

for love is the finest means by which one may attain him.

for love is the best means of drawing near.
