Al-Aziz came bearing glad tidings before her arrival—

Aziza, whose splendor bewilders the eye.

And she came with a brother of noble stock.

How delightful the arrival of these two siblings!

May the full moon of excellence ever rise through them both,

And glory's luminary be the lamp of the two dear ones.

And in congratulating them both I sing, recording the date:

The morning shone fair, gladdened by two lights.
