My pulpit is worldwide, not in a land
My pulpit is global, not limited to a land
Where the tyrant deems devastation lawful.
Where tyrants can wreak havoc and destruction

Oh my soul, today is the anniversary of my exile
From its heights, and from ruin and shame.
From its nurturer, from misery and disgrace

If its homelands had distanced it

Each land adopted its motto
