than the wretched and the orphans were crowned.

on the summit that none can reach.

sound minds are free of such men.

so we hastened, a purpose in our souls.

for, by what she has shown you, she holds a rein.

And let them charge with him to whom time is a slave,

and good fortune a follower and a servant.

have deaths whose causes are bones.

so that this verse may rival the stars?

Ḍād arose in my mouth out of love for you,

and there it is a greeting and a smile.

Truly, in love's Yildiz there are virtues

whose grace leaves me a lover utterly enthralled.

They have shone forth for the finest full moon they bore,

in a perfection whose signs stand revealed.

So cleave to fullness, O full moon, always,

and cleave to the full moon, O fullness!
