  1. ما تيمس اففك إلا عقرب ذهبت

    عمياء تقذف سما ههنا وهنا

    The lying Times is but a scorpion that went forth,

    Blind, spewing venom here and there.

  2. فلا تصدّق عميد الاحتلال فما

    من هؤلاء ولا من هؤلاء أنا

    So do not believe the chief of the occupation, for

    I am neither of these nor of those.
