يا عَزيزاً لَنا بِمِصرَ عَلِمنا

أَنَّهُ بِالرِضا الخِديوِيِّ فائِزُ

O one dear to us in Egypt, we have learned

O our dear one in Egypt we have learned

سَرَّنا أَنَّكَ اِرتَقَيتَ وَتَرقى
