بسطت بين يدى خير الورى عذري
فانحطso fell away عنىfrom me أمامbefore المصطفىthe Chosen One وزريmy burden of sin
فانحط عنى أمام المصطفى وزري
I laid my plea before the best of humankind,
I spread my excuses before the best of creation,
So my burden of sin fell from me before the Chosen One.
So my burdens fell from me in the presence of Al-Mustafa.

And he extended his right hand and his left, and shook my hand;
He stretched out his right hand and his left, and shook my hand,
So through his compassion I gained blessing and ease.
So I gained blessing from his kindness and generosity.

Meeting the Guide in his mosque,
Surpassed, in my esteem, the Night of Decree in worth.
Was for me greater in worth than Laylat Al-Qadr.

What is the Night of Decree, when the Chosen One is nobler than
For what night is greater than Laylat Al-Qadr
The Throne and earth's expanse, as the verses and Revelation expressly declare?
Except that the Chosen One is more noble than the Throne and the ground, by the text of the verse and the mention.

And by God, I stood frightened and trembling,
I stood, by Allah, anxious and trembling
On the day of the visit, because of my sin and my burden.
On the day of visiting, because of my sins and burdens.

No, by your Lord, I never offered an apology
No, by your Lord, I did not make an excuse
Without gaining relief of heart and breast.
Except that I gained solace of heart and chest.

And my eye was gladdened by what it witnessed and saw,
My eye was delighted by what it saw and witnessed,
For the breath of grace surpassed the breath of perfume.
When the breeze of grace exceeded the fragrance of perfume.

And how could it not, when in God's Messenger's hand
How could it not, when the Messenger of Allah held
Are rain and rescue from destitution and poverty?
Salvation and salvation from distress and poverty.

In it is generosity, and in it the banner of victory.
In it generosity, in it the banner of victory.

Taybah's days—their springs have grown sweet;
Blessed days that their springs have become good,
So a day there equals a whole lifetime.
So this day equals the rest of life.

For in the Chosen One's garden, the merit of prayer
The obligatory duties of Al-Mustafa - the virtue of prayer therein
Is like the full moon's eminence among the radiant stars.
Is like the virtue of the full moon among the shining stars.

للرى للجود للإحسان للطهر
An ocean of grace, yet its shore lies far away,
A sea of virtue, but its coast is for
For quenching thirst, for generosity, for kindness, for purity.
The slaves, for generosity, for benevolence, for purity.

Every limb became pure after I had drunk my fill,
I purified every limb after being sated,
Until it became purer in radiance than the full moon.
Until I became in brightness purer than the full moon.

We hoped for intercession on the Day of Gathering and Resurrection.
Hoping for intercession on the Day of Resurrection and Gathering.

And my eye was still, yet its tears flowed.
While my eyelid flows with tears.

So Allah sent down from the grace of His tranquility,
Upon everyone, and all gained their reward.
Upon all, and all gained reward.

Compared to which drops of rain are insignificant.
