ياربُّ هذا موسمُ البُشرى بهِ

تصفو القلوبُ وتطْهُرُ الابدانُ

O Lord, this is the season of glad tidings; through it

O Lord, this is the season of glad tidings

Hearts grow pure and bodies are cleansed.

Hearts are purified and bodies cleansed

تزكو بهِ الصلواتُ في جُنحِ الدُّجى

تزكو بهِ الصلواتُ في جُنحِ الدُّجى

ولنورِ وجهِكَ تخشعُ الأكوانُ

ولنورِ وجهِكَ تخشعُ الأكوانُ

Prayers grow in purity through it in the depths of night,

Prayers gain purity in the wings of nightfall

And the worlds bow humbly before the light of Your face.

And all creation bows before the light of Your Face

زادي الدعاءُ وفي الرجاء سفينتي

زادي الدعاءُ وفي الرجاء سفينتي

وإذا ضللتُ فمرشدي رمضانُ

وإذا ضللتُ فمرشدي رمضانُ

Supplication is my provision, and in hope is my ship.

My provision is supplication, and my ship is hope

And if I lose my way, Ramadan is my guide.

And if I go astray, my guide is Ramadan

في ظلِّه تغفو وتهدأُ أنفسُ

في ظلِّه تغفو وتهدأُ أنفسُ

مبرورةٌ صدقاتها وحِسان

مبرورةٌ صدقاتها وحِسان

In its shade, souls slumber and grow calm,

In its shade souls rest and find peace

Whose alms are accepted and beautiful.
