مَغنى عيده للحظ صالح

مَغنى عيده للحظ صالح

With the utmost serenity and fellowship sang

With the purpose of intimacy and human bonding he sang

the abode of his feast, favored by fortune,

A song celebrating the blessed moment

لمولد مَن لَهُ رقصت حُظوظ

لمولد مَن لَهُ رقصت حُظوظ

لَها شيَخ التَصابي اليَوم رابح

لَها شيَخ التَصابي اليَوم رابح

for the birth of one for whom fortunes danced;

Of one whose fortunes danced

thanks to them, the elder of youthful dalliance is a winner today.

The sheikh of chance is his winner today

وَقام لَهُ الزَمان وَقال أَرخ

وَقام لَهُ الزَمان وَقال أَرخ

لَقَد جاءَ الهَنا في وَضع صالح

لَقَد جاءَ الهَنا في وَضع صالح

And Time rose for him and said, 'Record the date:'

Time stood for him and said extend

'Joy has indeed come with the birth of Salih.'

Prosperity has come in an auspicious state
