لَكَ يا علي بِكَريمة وافي المُنى

لَكَ يا علي بِكَريمة وافي المُنى

وَلدت بِشَهر محرم فيهِ السَنا

وَلدت بِشَهر محرم فيهِ السَنا

With a noble daughter, O Ali, your wishes are fulfilled.

For you O Ali is a generous child fulfilling wishes

She was born in the month of Muharram, wherein is radiance.

Born in the month of Muharram wherein lies glory

فَاِفرَح بِها فَالسَعد قال مؤرخا

فَاِفرَح بِها فَالسَعد قال مؤرخا

أَبشر بِفاطمة فَقَد زادَ الهَنا

أَبشر بِفاطمة فَقَد زادَ الهَنا

So rejoice in her, for good fortune said, recording the date:

Rejoice for her, the auspicious one said the chronicler

Rejoice in Fatima, for happiness has indeed increased.

Receive glad tidings of Fatima for happiness has increased
