اليَوم وافى لِهَذا العيد إِيناس

اليَوم وافى لِهَذا العيد إِيناس

في ظل عَباس مَن تَزهو بِهِ الناس

في ظل عَباس مَن تَزهو بِهِ الناس

Today cheer has come to this feast,

Today this feast has arrived, a time of joy

In the shade of Abbas, in whom the people take pride.

In the shade of Abbas, whom people delight in

وَأَقبل العيد مَسروراً بِطَلعته

وَأَقبل العيد مَسروراً بِطَلعته

وَكَم سَعَت لعلى التَشريف أَجناس

وَكَم سَعَت لعلى التَشريف أَجناس

And the feast arrived, delighted by his countenance,

And the feast arrived happily with its rising

And how many peoples strove for the heights of honor!

As many races hastened to its honoring

عيد عَلى سائر الأَعياد مُفتَخر

عيد عَلى سائر الأَعياد مُفتَخر

لِأَن طَلعَتهُ لِلنَصر نِبراس

لِأَن طَلعَتهُ لِلنَصر نِبراس

A feast that boasts above all other feasts,

A feast proud over all other feasts

For his countenance is a beacon for victory.

For its dawn was a torch of victory

عيد لَهُ بِخديوي مَصر تَهنئة

عيد لَهُ بِخديوي مَصر تَهنئة

وَيَوم تَشريفه لِلأُنس مِقياس

وَيَوم تَشريفه لِلأُنس مِقياس

A feast congratulated on having Egypt's Khedive,

A feast congratulated by Egypt’s Khedive

And the day of his gracious presence is a measure of delight.

And the day of its honor is the measure of joy

وَبَهجة الأُنس قَد قالَت مُؤرخة

وَبَهجة الأُنس قَد قالَت مُؤرخة

لِلعيد عز خديوي مَصر عَباس

لِلعيد عز خديوي مَصر عَباس

And the radiance of delight has said, marking the date:

And the joy of companionship has chronicled

To the feast belongs the glory of Egypt's Khedive Abbas.
